The keynote speaker for the second day, the German Sociologist Adrienne Goehler, comments on the theme from her critical sociological point of view during her plenary session "More visions, less super":

“Fundamentalism thrives there where foundations are lacking, where people and their abilities, their wish to create and be useful, do not appear, are not asked, where they are seen as the problem and not as part of the solution; this is where fundamentalism thrives.”
